What Does Audio Have to Do With Video Production?

 Audio in a video production is just as important as video in any production.  It sets the tone and the pace of your work.  You want the music to play in harmony with the video and the sound effects to enhance motion graphics or complement your editing style.  Picking the right music and sound effects for any video can be the hardest part.   You want them to complement each other, otherwise you can ruin your video.  Or worse minimize the impact your video has on your audience.

 
In order to pick the right music and sound effects for any video you must first understand how you want your 
viewers to feel when they watch your video.  When you have the right audio for your video it gives that feeling and emotion you want your viewers to see and feel.  We all have remembered great movies because of their scores.  Do you think that Star Wars would've made the impact that it did with some lame music?  A perfect example of when everything works right and complements each other is this video below of an ad for Lamborghini's Aventador. 
 
Imagine this video without the audio?  Would it have the same impact on you? Would you be thinking that it would be really cool to have that Lamborghini?
