The Incredible Edible Egg

 Our staff was privileged to work with farmers around North Carolina on a series of videos and TV commercials for the NC Egg Association.  During the project we have  learned so much about our local farmers, precautions that are taken to protect our food supply and modern improvements to a age old way of living.  

• Did you know that you cannot just drive from farm to farm or go into the chicken houses?  Well, you can't!  Our team had to schedule the filming with the various farmers over a number of weeks and months to prevent cross contamination.  
• Did you know that some of today's farmers were trained just down the street from the Fairgrounds at NCSU?  It's true, many a Wolfpack student studies farming and business to learn just how to keep their farm thriving in this economy.
• Have you ever thought of the benefits of buying locally and why we might want to support the family farm?  Buying locally supports people in our community and also keeps the rural character of our landscape that some of us enjoy when we have a chance to drive out of the city.
