I Want My (Insert "Video", "Article", "Content") to Go Viral
In our business we have had several prospective clients approach us with the request that they want their video to go VIRAL. And, when they tell us we can't put babies, kittens, or sophomoric humor in it, but instead have to feature their CEO - well, we are at a loss. Now we have a wonderful infographic to share with them to explain just what goes viral - although it can still be mysterious - and how it goes viral. Lauren Hockenson of Mashable has done an awesome job of summing up the viral phenomenon. Check this out and let us know what you think!

Not mentioned is whether you need "Your" video, content etc. to go viral. Are your prospects teenagers around the world? Or C-Suite executives? Would you prefer 1 million people around the world or 10 executives that are in your target demographic?
Here are two projects we worked on that have had some success online - one was a very well planned and executed multi-media campaign for WomenHeart to raise funds to help fight heart disease in women. More than 70,000 people viewed, clicked, shared or commented on the videos. Ignite Social Media planned and executed the entire campaign and allowed our team to fly around the country to film 4 of their champions. Here's her story:
Our second success garnered just 1,700 views but seemed to gain an audience for our client: Carolina Ale House. The video was actually a TV Spot, but our team enjoyed working on the project so much and using their creativity that we blogged, tweeted, and shared on Facebook and LinkedIN. So it was totally unplanned, but Carolina Ale House certainly enjoyed the benefits of more people in the local area learning about their brand and seeing how delicious the food looks - even if it is "talking". Here's the video. Two more have been created since, so be sure to check them out on our portfolio page or YouTube Channel.
